Utility Dive: Oncor Drops Proposed Minimum Charge For DER Customers

Oncor Electric customers are likely to see a 7.5% rate hike take effect this November. The utility is asking state regulators for a $317 million rate increase which they say is needed to pay for grid improvements. If approved, the proposal would bring Oncor’s guaranteed revenue requirement to $4.5 billion annually.

KHOU: The Great Texas Eclipse Is Coming (In 2024)

If you missed the August Solar Eclipse entirely, or if you were outside the totality zone of total darkness, you’ll have another chance at seeing a total solar eclipse in 2024. Residents of Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio will be in the path of totality when the moon and sun align again on April 8th, 2024.The “Great Texas Eclipse” will begin at approximately 12:19 pm, maximum coverage will occur at 1:40 pm and the eclipse will end at 3:01 pm.
